Where Are You Now?

I was listening to my iPod on shuffle when suddenly this song came on. Normally, I only played the songs that I had compiled in a playlist, so I'm only listening to the same songs over and over again. I don't know what came over me to play songs on shuffle, but I'm glad because I came across this song.

You guys might not be familiar with this band as it was quite new, as far as I know. They're called Honor Society and their debut album is called "Fashionably Late"

Where Are You Now?
Honor Society
*the song is currently playing on Izzy, my iPod Nano

To my favorite teacher, told me never give up
To my fifth grade crush, who I thought I really loved
To the guys I've missed and the girls we've kissed
Where are you now

To my ex-best friends don't know how we grew apart
To my favorite band and sing along in my car
To the face I see in my memories
Where are you now

Where are you now?
Cause I'm thinking of you
You showed me how
How to live like I do
If it wasn't for you
I would never be who I am

To my first girlfriend, I thought for sure was the one
To my last girlfriend, sorry that I screwed it up
To the ones I loved and didn't show it enough
Where are you now

Where are you now
Cause I'm thinking of you
You showed me how
How to live like I do
If it wasn't for you
I would never be who I am

I know we'll never see those days again
And things will never be that way again
But that's just how it goes
People change but I know
I won't forget you

To the ones who came who were there from the start
To the love that left and took a piece of my heart
To the few who'd swear they'd never go anywhere
Where are you now?

Where are you now?
Cause I'm thinking of you
You showed me how
How to live like I do
If it wasn't for you
I would never be how I am
If it wasn't for you
I would never be who I am
If it wasn't for you
I'd be nothing
Where are you now?

Wonderful World of Bahasa Melayu

If you are a huge mega fan of the Twilight saga, this might ring a bell to you.

About three things I was absolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him - and I didn't know how dominant that part might be - that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

Yeap. These were the famous quote from Bella Swan pasted at the back cover of every Twilight book.

Take a look at the following:

Tiga perkara yang aku pasti.
Pertama, Edward sebenarnya pontianak.
Kedua, sebahagian daripada dirinya - dan aku tidak tahu betapa kuatnya sebahagian itu - yang dahagakan darahku.
Dan ketiga, aku sungguh-sungguh mencintainya.

Yeap, my friend. You are looking at the wonderful world of Bahasa Melayu. Kind of ruined the effect, don't you think? :)

Saw it in a bookstore some time ago. Wanted to share it with you guys.

27.12.09

I came across this trailer the other day when the gang and I watched Sherlock Holmes on Christmas Eve, which is an amazing movie by the way. Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. were uh-ma-zingly good! Back to the trailer, so, you know how I always behave and along with Jess and JoJo. When we saw the trailer, we're like: Ok, that guy is Hot. :)

But after that, the apparently hot guy totally just disappear from my mind. Until, I went and watch Avatar with my family, which also is another great movie. The trailer played again and this time, it got me really wondering what is it about.

So, I did research. LOL. The things I would do for a hot guy. :)

Turn out, the movie is like Harry Potter, sort of, since it's of a series. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians or something. I dug a little bit more and voila, I found the e-book. I read the first book, Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief (which is also the movie coming out in February 2010). I think it was kinda cool, though of course, it's targeted for a younger audience.

Fine, it's for kids. But it's really read-worthy!

This is a story about the Greek Gods. You know, Athena, Zeus, Poseidon, Hades etc. And it's about how they love to wander off to the mortal world and lay their seeds around. :) Thus, producing demigods: half human + half God.

I don't really know how to explain anymore other than, it's really nice. Not your usual "I love you and I'll be a vampire for you" kinda story *hint hint*

Ok: Here's the trailer that started it all.

*Notice that it's stated there: Yancy Academy*
*And that the actor is really cute*

Random note: Is it me, or do you somehow read Peter Jackson instead of Percy? I swear, every time, I read it as Peter, and then I have to correct myself.

It's an Animal

Check this out:

Ke$ha's album, Animal, to me, it's quite good. I'm already addicted to her "Tick Tock", but now? There's 8 new songs in this album and I'm already addicted to 2 of them. Below is 3 of the 8 songs that I'm more interested in. Enjoy!

Good morning World!

I'm an early-riser today because Granny Jane came over and wanted to try to Bah Kut Teh shop in the shopping mall opposite my house. Every moment is enjoyable with her because out of a sudden, she'll make a random comment that is completely hilarious.

The shop we ate at was sort of a commercialized BKT shop where everything was, how to say, "upgraded"? One thing I'm sure of is that the price definitely upgraded.

Anyway, so, because they are so commercialized, they have their own personalized teacup and saucer. Granny complained about the saucer, because it was quite flat, hence, she can't access to the soysauce. She complained in the manner I'm sure everyone in the family is quite familiar with, which of course made it funny. :)

Then, we started talking about things that happen before, mainly about Derick went missing in a mall, then it sort of change to me, went missing in a mall, nearly got kidnapped, etc and not forgetting, my beloved brother's "accident" in the escalator of Hero Supermarket and also on my aunt's lap. (I can't mentioned it here for the fear of getting killed)

It was a great family experience, definitely worth getting up at 8 plus on a Sunday morning. ;)

The "F-word" is in the Air!

No no people, it's not the F-word. The F-word I mean is...

FREEDOM!

Yes, it's so close, I can almost taste it!

I'm so sorry to the other who haven't get the taste of their own freedom, but please allow me to bask in my freedomness! Awesome!

Check out the song!

To those who had predetermined opinion otherwise know as "prejudice" towards Disney stars, well, I hope this will lower your prejudice or better yet, get rid of them immediately.

No, I'm not talking about the Jonas Brothers, though people do need to stop judging them just because they're from Disney.

Anyway, this post is about none other than Demetria Lovato a.k.a Demi Lovato!

You might have known her as Mitchie from Camp Rock, which she stared alongside with the Jonas Brothers.

Hey, hold it. What did I say, don't judge her just yet.

Anyway, you guys should check out her songs. A few of my favorites of hers would be:

1. This is Me
2. La La Land
3. Send It On
4. Get Back
5. Don't Forget
6. Catch Me
7. On The Line feat. Jonas Brothers
8. Until You're Mine

So, anyway, you guys should check out this song of hers, which she collaborated with We The Kings. It's called: "We'll Be A Dream"

Enjoy!

Super Granny!

My granny is a Super Granny!

Today when I went to my grandma house, my Granny was sitting outside, where the mango trees are. If I'm not mistaken, she was getting rid of the excess branches.

Anyway, we were all doing our things (I'm trying to play with Rei and Molly, trying being the key word) when suddenly, Granny Jane took out the saw and started to saw the branches.

My mom was like "Wah, look at Ah Po!"

Then, I rushed outside to take her picture.

I took a few pictures. Then, when I was done. I just stood there and talk to her a while. A few minutes later, she looked up at me and asked "You take already or not?"

OMG!

My Granny is a camwhore! :)

I think it's all because of my cousins (Caitlin, Clarisse and Celesta). They always take the camera and told Granny Jane to struck a pose and "click".

Anyway, so, my point of this post is to, promote my amazing, Super Granny!

Goodbye, My Love.

Most of you probably know that I was given a hand phone accessory last Saturday by my friends.

I named it Shitty.

You must think that who would name something Shitty? Well, I would. You'll understand when you see the picture.

Presenting:

The story behind why I got Shitty is well, I'm too lazy to elaborate so, you guys have to ask around.

The point of my post today is:

Rest in Piece
Shitty
(05/12/09-12/12/09)

You will always be remembered as the shit with vanilla smell. Even though you only accompany me for a week, you had left a huge mark in my life.

Farewell, Shitty.

Goodbye, My Love.

Emotionally Strained

I never knew what it would be like to be emotionally strained, but now I do.

I just don't understand how I came to be like this. I didn't had a break up, I'm not sick, I'm...

Today, I had this really suffocating feeling in me. I woke up with the most confusing dream. Not only was it freaking me out, it was kind of making me sad. Maybe all the thinking I had before I went to bed last night caused it.

To make this worse, Hotlink decided to join in and make my life even more fucked up. My SIM card was inactive the whole day. I couldn't called Yion to let her know what time I'm going to college. I couldn't contact Nicholas so that I could take some stuff from him. Luckily, I could borrow my Aunt's phone.

Fine, I called the Hotlink hotline. 1-300-820-120. Can someone call this number and tell me whether is it still busy? The first couple of time I called, it was OK, but no-bloody-one picked up the phone. I have to listen to the fishing "Satu Malaysia" (Not the Hitz. one, the other one) over and over again. If that's not bad enough, when I tried calling later, it's been busy ever since.

I was this close to losing it, but luckily my Tweet buddy accompanied me and brought my mood down to normal.

Then, it came back, the bloody moody feeling that's tugging at my stomach. It didn't help that I found out I was yet again in your shadow, bested by everything you had done. The whole thing is really suffocating me. I can't be like this anymore.

I can't keep up with this facade with no one supporting me. Everything seemed superficial to me. Nothing's real.

The Mayonnaise Jar

Got an interesting email from a friend today and I decided to share with you guys:

When things in your life seem, almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class

and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.

The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively
filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family,
children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions –
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

Mood: Kinda blue.

Today is quite a hectic day for me. I had double presentation and also an assignment to hand in. As I had mentioned in the previous post, my assignment was M.I.A, so I had to redo the assignment. I manged to do that, so thank goodness.

However, I am kind of disappointed in my presentations today.

For Principles of Sociology, well, there are a few complications Eg: A very uncooperative group member, who didn't really do much. And also, there are technical difficulties when we were setting up for the presentations. Because someone *hint hint* were late to give us the slides, we were quite nervous and hectic, so we opened the wrong slides(the one not updated) during the presentation. I hope that Ms. Jamie wouldn't minus our marks for that. *fingers crossed* Then, when we wanted to play the video, it has no sound (we forgot the pluck in the audio thingy - once again 'cause we were really kind of feeling rushed)

Conclusion is: The presentation did not run as smooth as I hoped it would be.

But, I am quite proud of the video though. Haha. (Cause I did it!) It was my first time making a video using iMovie.

For Cognition, I got so nervous that in the end, I got tongue-tied. I know what I am supposed to say, but I just can't get it out to phrase it into words. Urgh!

That's why I'm kinda blue now. I hope everything will turn out right. *fingers crossed really hard*

FML

So, guess what?

I just found out that the assignment that I did two days ago was gone. Poof! Nada! I couldn't find it anywhere. FML. Seriously. Even though it is only half done, but still! I planned to finish it up today and then get a good night sleep, since I recently always snooze for an hour before I wake up. Turns out, NO, I can't get my sleep tonight because I have to work on it all night for it. Stupid.

Not to mention that I have double presentation tomoro. FML. Everything is just sooo... URGH!

If you are offended by any vulgar language, please refrain from reading the red-colored line:

FUCKITBLASTEDBLOODYIDIOTSTUPIDDONKEYSUCKERBITCHBABIHUTANCILAPEKBODOHTED!

Ok, I'm done.
