Black and White

She walks away, the colors fade to gray
Every precious moments' now a waste
She hits the gas, hoping it would pass
The red light starts to flash, it's time to wait

And the black keys, never looked so beautiful
And the perfect rainbow never seemed so dull
And the lights out, never had this bright a glow
And the black keys, are showing me a world I've never knew, no
World I never knew

She hates the sun, cause it proves she's not alone
And the world doesn't revolve around her soul, no
She loves the sky, cause it validates her pride
Never let her know when she is wrong

And the black keys, never looked so beautiful
And the perfect rainbow never seemed so dull
And the lights out, never had this bright a glow
And the black keys, are showing me a world I've never knew, no
Yeah, and the world are closing

Don't let them get inside your head
Don't let them get inside your head
Don't let them get inside your head
Don't let them get inside

And the black keys, never looked so beautiful
And the perfect rainbow never seemed so dull
And the lights out, never had this bright a glow
And the black keys, are showing me a world I've never knew

Don't let 'em get
(Don't let 'em get)
Inside of your head, no
Don't let 'em get
Inside of your head

Don't let 'em get
(Don't let 'em get)
Inside of your head, no
Don't let 'em get
Inside of your head

Sometimes you find,
It's better black and white.

Black Keys-Jonas Brothers

Sometimes, it's really best to just look at the world in black and white. Just, sometimes.

I dedicate this song to my mother because it just reminds me a few of the many things that she had done for me and my brother.

You tucked me in, turned out the light
Kept me safe and sound at night
Little girls depend on things like that

Brushed my teeth and combed my hair
Had to drive me everywhere
You were always there when I looked back

You had to do it all alone
Make a living, make a home
Must have been as hard as it could be

And when I couldn't sleep at night
Scared things wouldn't turn out right
You would hold my hand and sing to me

Caterpillar in the tree
How you wonder who you'll be
Can't go far but you can always dream

Wish you may and wish you might
Don't you worry, hold on tight
I promise you there will come a day
Butterfly fly away

Butterfly fly away, butterfly fly away
Flap your wings now you can't stay
Take those dreams and make them all come true

Butterfly fly away, butterfly fly away
We've been waiting for this day
All along and knowing just what to do
Butterfly, butterfly, butterfly, butterfly fly away

Butterfly fly away
Butterfly fly away

Nikki-Blackout

Because I still have 1 and a half more chapters to study for my quiz, I have decided to go on a media-blackout.

Since I don't normally watch the TV, the only media that will distract me from studying is my beloved Nikki. So, I'm so sorry dear Nikki.

I'm gonna have a Nikki-blackout starting from the moment I post this post. And the blackout will only end when I finished studying the 1 and a half chapters and finish revising all the chapters.

Byebye Nikki, see you!

Outing with the Peeps!

Went out with my high school friends yesterday!

It was awesome.

Even though something was on my mind yesterday, Sheena, Sor Hong, Chee Thean, Wen Shan, Fei Xin and Cheryl managed to get me to have fun and forget about the "thing".

As usual, with reunions, there are fun and laughter. We carried out from Aeon to a mamak in Eng Ann.

In the end, there were only five of us left: me, Sheena, Sor Hong, Chee Thean and Wen Shan. I don't know what started it, but all of a sudden we were talking about our times in high school. How foolish we were. What funny and idiotic things we did. Crazy fights we have. Stupid jealous fits. All that was said and laughed on.

Time passed by easily and quickly. And...

I was kinda in trouble with my mom because we talked until like 12++. I know it's still early, but to my mom, it was late, and I know she was really concerned about me, so I left then.

Just so to know angered her, I didn't go to Cheras today. Sorry, KiSiao-ians!

Still, I think it's worth it since it's a long time since I talked to the four of them. Last Friday's reunion was great, but it's just not the same because even though they were my class/schoolmates, they weren't the one to share some stuffs with.

Despite some bitter times in high school (the GANG who hate my guts, backstabbing people and all), most of my greatest and wonderful memories were with the four of them: Sheena, Sor Hong, Wen Shan and Chee Thean! Love you guys!

I so need to go out and hang more with them!

New layout... again!

LOL. Yeap, new layout again. And this time, I kinda regretted it a little.

Stupid Twitter. The application/widgets is just so different now that I refused to put it on my blog now. It's so weird. Ish.

So, people. Before I went and change my layout (Again!), I forgot to keep a backup. So, I couldn't recall what was missing from my Bloggie. So, if you can recall, please refresh my memory yea?

Vent-Out Session

I was just sitting in the college's cafeteria at 7:48am (Don't ask me why I'm at the college so early in the morning, I just do) when I just have this sudden urge to vent. Like to tell out all my frustrations and irritations once and for all.

My dear friends and family, please don't be offended as this is not about you. It's more like people, in general.

1. I hate it when people keep asking me an unnecessary question. I understand the need to reconfirm, but sometimes, it's just too much.

2. I find it really frustrating when people breathe down my neck to look at what I'm doing. Eg: When I'm copying notes, when I'm on the computer...

3. Competitiveness is encouraged, but over-competitiveness is not a very good value, in my opinion.

4. I don't like it when a person acts as though they're above the rest. (I noticed sometimes I'm in this category, so I'll try my best to get it out)

5. I seriously find it very annoying that people give me false compliments or fake words of encouragements. If I suck, tell me I suck. If you don't like or don't support what I'm doing, tell me. If I see it your way then, it's good. If I still don't, your honesty is still appreciated.

6. Assumption is just what is it. ASS. Do not ASSume that you know me. Even I still don't know me, how could you?

OK, so far that's it. Now, I can get on with my assignment.

One of my Favs from T-Swift

I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel
The other on my heart

I look around, turn the radio down
He says, ?Baby is something wrong??
I say, ?Nothing I was just thinking
How we don't have a song? and he says

Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late and your mama don't know

Our song is the way you laugh
The first date man, I didn't kiss her and I should have
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if He could play it again

I was walking up the front porch steps
After everything that day
Had gone all wrong or been trampled on
And lost and thrown away

Got to the hallway, well, on my way
To my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said

Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late and your mama don't know

Our song is the way you laugh
The first date man, I didn't kiss her and I should have
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if He could play it again

I've heard every album, listened to the radio
Waited for something to come along
That was as good as our song

'Cause our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on his window
When we're on the phone and he talks real slow
'Cause it's late and his mama don't know

Our song is the way he laughs
The first date man, I didn't kiss him and I should have
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if He could play it again
Play it again, oh, yeah, oh, oh, yeah

I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
I grabbed a pen and an old napkin
And I wrote down our song

Our Song
Taylor Swift

The Truth is Always Ugly

... or so says the main character Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler) in the movie, The Ugly Truth.

Just watched the movie with mommy dearest last night.
There's this part where Katherine looked so much like Taylor Swift (Victor, go check it out!)

Sometimes...

I wonder whether or not I was too much?

Is it alright to do what I did?

Is is right to treat someone that way?

It is hypocritical of me to judge others when I do not want to be judged?

Do I even have the right to say that others are wrong?

Is it justified for me to ignore a person just because they are annoying and irritating for I fear that I might snap at them?

I ask for forgiveness if I am in the wrong

for I am merely a person who had the worst temper

but

I promise to try my best to become a better person

Send 'em My Way

4-leaves clover. Rainbow. Bunny's foot.

Anything else that's a good luck charm, just send them my way. 'Cause I really need them.

Due to a friend's encouragement, I will do something bold and possibly embarrassing today. Something that, if successful, will make me the happiest girl, but if unsuccessful will embarrassed me and devastate me to no end.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Wish me luck.

OMG, We Got Married!

I'm currently addicted to this show.

It's a reality series in Korea.

This couple really just cracks me up. Gawd! I can't stop laughing while watching them.

If you'd watch the Korean version of Meteor Garden a.k.a. Boys Over Flower, you should be able to recognize the guy.

He's Kim Hyun Joong and he's like the blurest, funniest, most insensitive (in an adorable way) and most competitive guy I had ever seen. Seriously. The combination of him and Hwang Bo together will crack you up if you're into this kind of reality show. :)

Here's the link if you want to give it a try:
(Jess, watch!!!)

Thanks June, for recommending this show.

The Kia Su Culture

The 31st of August house a very important event.

No. I'm not talking about our National Day.

OK, it's more like the 31st of every other months is a very important date! Why?

Yeap, you guessed it.

It's the day where you'll get 31% discount off of your ice cream in every Baskin Robbin Ice Cream near you. :)

And as what everyone says, Malaysia is the home of Kia Su people. We're like one of the leading countries in the Kia Su culture. Of course, most of the Kia Su people in Malaysia can be found in any of the Baskin Robbin Ice Cream shop on that particular date.

The 31st of any month.

Behold:The Kia Su people of Klang.

Yes, I'm one of them. :)

College, meet District 9

c2pid idiot baka pen dan bodoh-ted pabo!

ISH!

My "beloved" class had been rescheduled to SATURDAY! MORNING! blasted man! Ish.

This is like the first ever Saturday since about 4 weeks that I will get to wake up late and everything... and then this pops up!

Don't know why there's this change and don't know who causes this change, but it is super irritating. I have wasted two Tuesdays so far because of this blasted subject. Last week, the lecturer was not present, so it was cancelled after signing the attendence. Today, we were told that it was rescheduled to Saturday. BUT I saw the freaking lecturer in the college! What reasons she have to cancel the class? Urgh!

I'm gonna ask District 9 to send all the "f**k"s they have to my "beloved" college becuase they totally freaking deserve 'em.
